Welcome to LyndleeAdams.com!

I am an author, avid reader, teacher, and craft enthusiast who loves the Lord and desires to impart His love to others so they will grow in their relationship with God. Join me on this journey of becoming all you can be for God’s glory!

My love of books began in fifth grade when my teacher read The Hobbit to the class. The natural outcome was writing. Combining these two passions with a love for God and His Word, I teach reading and writing in the classroom and weave stories in written form.

Crafting was a part of my family before I was born. My mom was an avid seamstress and knitter; my dad a woodworker (he was also a writer, so I come by it honestly). Although I have not attained my mom’s perfectionism with sewing (having taken out many seams because they did not match) or her love of knitting, I’ve grown to love sewing and many other crafts. I’ve dabbled in anything from crocheting to stained glass.

Education and Experience

I graduated from Cairn University (then Philadelphia Bible College) with a Bachelor of Science in Bible and a minor in Christian Education. Recently I sat for the ALTA exam and I am now a certified Dyslexia Therapist. I hold ACSI and Texas teaching certificates.

My passion for God’s Word has led me to teach various Bible studies. Focusing on my writing for the past twelve years led me to have articles accepted for publication in “Life Applications” magazine. I am currently working on editing my first novella.

Family

I was a pastor’s wife for many years before my husband and I divorced in 2000. We have two daughters and a son-in-law and a new granddaughter.

I grew up in New Jersey and, after college, moved to Maryland to teach. We moved to Florida and, now, I live in Texas where I teach struggling readers in a Christian school.
